Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of food does Dockside serve?

Our location in Sag Harbor drives our menu. We serve fresh fish and seafood, humanely raised poultry and meats, plus plenty of fresh vegetables.

Do you have a kids menu?

Everyone who comes to Dockside must be able to order off our regular menu.

When are you open?

For the twelve weeks of summer, we are open 7 days and 7 nights serving lunch and dinner, brunch on weekends. The rest of the year, we’re open 5 days and 5 nights, closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. During the week, we serve lunch from 11:30 until 4, while on weekends, it runs from 11 until 4. We open for dinner every night at 5:30. The kitchen closes at 9:30 during the week and at 10:30 on Fridays and Saturdays.

Do you take reservations?

We operate on a "first come first served" basis.

Can you seat large parties?

We are a small restaurant and do not have places to put large groups. We can accommodate parties of six comfortably. Sometimes we can squeeze a seven or an eight.

We are a party of 10 (or more) can we split up?

Our experience has taught us that splitting a party rarely works out to everyone's satisfaction. In short we do not recommend it.

How can we pay?

We accept cash and all major credit cards. We present only one check per table and we process a maximum of three credit cards per check.

Visa/MC accepted
